Electric buses, are they effective at reducing emissions?

In an Australian first, a 100 per cent electric bus depot has opened in the Gold Coast.

This comes after Australia’s promise to achieve net zero by 2050.

But experts say our efforts to reduce carbon emissions should focus elsewhere instead of public transport.
