Spain’s Potential Third COVID Wave

Nurses in Spain are tired. The country went through two coronavirus waves and now the government is easing restrictions for Christmas. But, one nurse is worried she won’t have enough equipment to handle a potential third wave. Now, she wants the government to offer more contracts and provide more PPE and better working conditions.

Estela spoke to producer Lucy Luo about her experience of the pandemic in Spain and why she’s not a hero, but simply a worker who wants more support from the government.
