Facebook and Hate Speech

Facebook is under scrutiny after revealing damaging statistics about hate speech on the platform. Groups such as the Summer Civil Rights have boycotted Facebook advertising over a perceived lack of action on hate speech on the platform. In one recent, famous case, CEO Mark Zuckerberg stressed that White House Advisor Steve Bannon had not violated enough policies to be stood down after he suggested two senior US officials should be beheaded.
