Facebook Users Private Information Leaked To Third Party Company

After the Cambridge Analytica scandal, where Facebook users filled out a ‘Mr Kogans’ survey, and unknowingly had their information leaked to the University of Cambridge psychology academic Aleksandr Kogan, many users are left feeling a breach of trust. This issue has finally been addressed by Facebook CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, yesterday, explaining Facebook has made some major mistakes and are ensuring this privacy leak will not happen again. The Daily was joined on the line by Associate Professor Dr Lubna Alam, from the department of information systems and business from Deakin University to discuss this.
