Facing Discrimination with Dementia

Every 3 seconds someone in the world develops dementia. It is the second leading cause of death for Australians and an issue that’s close to home for many of us. This week is Dementia Action Week across Australia and 2019’s theme is “Dementia Doesn’t Discriminate. Do you?”.

There will be events held across the week including a headline event at the Opera House on Monday 16th of September. Jess from 2SER Weekend Breakfast Show spoke with Kaele Stokes the executive director of Dementia Australia.
