Fairytales Continue to Benefit us as Adults

Fairytales are reminiscent of our sparkly childhood – our bright eyed selves, wriggling in anticipation at the sight of Cinderella’s slipper or terrified by the Big Bad wolf’s deceitful disguise in Little Red Riding Hood. Their lasting images are easily retrievable and messages ingrained well into adulthood. But how do they continue to benefit us? And why do we tell them?
