Solo travel can be one of the most rewarding ways to see the world but, when you’re a woman, it may also seem a little daunting.

Will it be safe to travel on my own? Am I travelling to a female-friendly city? Where can I purchase feminine hygiene products? Adventuress Magazine is the brainchild of feminist journalist Lauren Ingram, who was surprised to find that travel guides don’t cater to women. Unlike other travel sites, Adventuress will feature digital travel guides and expert advice for women by women.
