It’s Not Easy Being Fobulous: FOBGAYS fight stigma and promote inclusion

Sidd, his brother Rishi, along with his sister Giti, started an organisation called FOBGAYS to support LGBTQ people of South Asian origin.

FOBGAYS+ stands for Friends and Families Of Brown, South Asian Gays, Lesbians, Bisexual, Queer, Transgender, Intersex & Asexual+ People and just this month — FOBGAYS marched in the Mardi Grass Parade as a Big Queer Indian Wedding procession known as a ‘Baraat’.

Sidd and his family are hoping to fight stigma and promote inclusion.
