Former Arthritis Australia CEO named in Queens Birthday Honours List

Currently 1 in 6 Australians have arthritis, it’s a condition that affects the musculoskeletal system, mainly the joints. It is the second most common cause of early retirement due to ill health

 We spoke with one of the Australians named in the Queens birthday honours list. Ainslie Cahill has been made a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) for her services to people living with arthritis and work with community health groups.

She was the CEO of Arthritis of Australia for 12 year, and now works for Maridulu Budyari Gumal/SPHERE, a partnership of universities, hospitals and research institutions across Sydney.
