Freek your Weekends with the Battle of the Beats

Join 2SER Breakfast host Danny Chifley as he speaks to Threatnique, the host of 2SER radio show Beat Heads.

The pair discuss the upcoming Battle of the Beats at the Factory Theatre on the afternoon of Sunday 30 November, which will see 16 of Australia’s best producers and beat makers go head-to-head.

Beatmakers and producers will have the opportunity to bring up to 12 beats if they reach the final round, with eliminations taking place each round until one legendary beatmaker is left standing.

The event will also feature live performances from local and national favourites including the intergalactic Doctor Robot, a time-travelling entity from Sydney’s underground scene. Melbourne based beat legend Sadiva is also on the stellar lineup, who has gained an international reputation for her Women of the World Compilations.

Host P Smurf, also known as the Major of Newtown, is joined by iKATANA as fellow host, ensuring the music will be accompanied by some of the scene’s most respected voices.
