From Shock To Awe

The armed forces consists of individuals exposed to harrowing experiences within their respective deployments. On a daily basis, their humanity is tested in extreme circumstances, exposing their psyches to situations that engender anxiety, depression, anger, and an overall inability to find equilibrium, upon their return to society.   Jess spoke with Dr Dean Wright, a neuroscientist involved with the Australian Psychedelic Society, about how psychedelic treatments are helping mend the broken souls of combat veterans.
