Game Industry Faces Massive Layoffs

Over the past year, several thousands of video game developers have been let go from multiple companies across the industry.

In 2022, the gaming industry generated $184 billion in revenue… more than the film and music industry combined. Though in spite of being highly lucrative, questions are being raised as to why the industry has seen so many employees sacked.

So what are the reasons behind these mass layoffs?
