Gender bias of all boys’ schools: english text selection – Cody Reynolds

Does the choice of text studied in all boys’ schools lead to the marginalisation of women and galvanise negative gender stereotypes? 

In all boys’ schools there is a tendency to favour fiction written by male authors. This leads to gender becoming both invisible and irrelevant to classroom criticism. Which continues to perpetuate the underlying misogyny in our society.
