Geoffrey Rush and Defamation Law

The Australian media has recently been on the wrong side of a number of high profile defamations cases and last week one of the largest again went against the media – The Daily Telegraph and its case against Australian actor Geoffrey Rush. This case raises a number of very significant issues for the news media and in turn the Me Too movement in this country.
