Get Excited For Sydney Comedy Festival 2026!

Originating in 2005, the Sydney Comedy Festival has become Sydney’s largest annual comedy event. Every April and May, hundreds of the best comedians from Australia and beyond take to stages across Sydney for a massive month of comedy.

The festival will include some of the biggest international stars and the most promising emerging talent, comedians of all size and shape, offering up everything from stand up to sketch, satire, improv, musical comedy, absurdist comedy, theater, magic and kids comedy.

James Declase from Sydney Comedy Festival joined Danny Chifley on 2SER Breakfast to chat about the first acts announced in their line-up for the 2026 festival, which will run from 13-17 April.
