Sometimes the message we hear about new scientific research can get lost in translation due to difficult to understand science jargon or ineffective communication.

Christie McMonigal is from the UTS Science Outreach Program and says it’s all about creating a visual for the lay person to understand as well as training scientists to be ready to communicate their research.
