Girls on Deck: Supporting Sydney’s Female DJ’s

Turning now to Sydney’s local DJ scene, where an established collective of young female artists are making their mark throughout the city. ‘Girls on Deck’, affectionately shortened to ‘GOD’, are an all female DJ events group supporting female performers in  the music industry. Julia spoke to the brain trust behind Girls on Deck, Gaby Ardill and Jennie Nygren.

 

They’re hosting an event Friday September 7 at Oxford Art Factory, with Squeef headlining and several local artists being showcased as well.
