Glaucoma Aware: testing for preventable blindness

Until March 18 it’s Glaucoma Awareness Week. Glaucoma is a progressive eye condition that can lead to permanent blindness and there are 150,000 Aussies who have the condition, without even knowing. It’s preventable, but early detection and regular check-ups are essential and offer a better prognosis than catching it too late. Geoff Pollard from Glaucoma Australia spoke with Nic about the Glaucoma Aware campaign.
