Government report calls for trade and better ties with India

The Federal Government recently quietly released a report from Peter Varghese, a former High Commissioner to India, on the boosting trade and strengthening ties between Australia and India.

The report, called An India Economic Strategy to 2035, identified 10 sectors and 10 Indian states for Australian businesses and the government to focus on to increase trade and reduce Australia’s dependence on China by 2035.
