Greens Leader concedes seat amid party’s election hit

After 15 years in Parliament, today The Australian Greens Leader, Adam Bandt conceded defeat against Labor’s Sarah Witty.

Mr Bandt became leader of the Greens in 2020.

The party has seen several changes, with Max Chandler Mathers and Stephen Bates losing their seats in Queensland.

What could this shift signify for the party and changes in Australian politics?
