Hackers Can Speak To Your Kids Through Smart Track Watch

Tracking devices are hot on the market at the moment, especially for parents. The ability to monitor your child’s movements using one simple device provides a world of relief for some, but how much trust should we be placing in this technology?

Recently two computer security researchers, Troy Hunt and Ken Munro discovered serious security flaws in the children’s smartwatch,’TicTocTrack’. The watch has been found to be seriously insecure, to the point that unknown third-parties are able to access private information shared on the watch, change a child’s location and even audibly speak to a child through their watch

We spoke to Troy Hunt, one of the computer security researchers who discovered the flaws in the TicTocTrack watch.
