Hamas and Israel reach ceasefire agreement

Following 467 days of conflict since Hamas launched attacks on Israel, a multi-phase ceasefire agreement has been reached.

After intense negotiations, the deal is due to start from Sunday leading into its first phase of 42 days.
A number of authority figures have welcomed the ceasefire but warn it is not the end.
