Hard Times call for Furious Dancing – Snapped Ankles on 2SER Breakfast

London-based post-punk band Snapped Ankles are back with a brand new album Hard Times Furious Dancing, an invitation to all those lost in the unrelenting noise of the present, to leave it all behind and come together in the forest.

Who are Snapped Ankles? What are Snapped Ankles? Where is this forest and how do I get there? None of these questions were answered when Snapped Ankles joined 2SER Breakfast, but we did manage to have a chat about stuff like single-oscillator ‘log’ synths and imagined conversations between Brian Eno and Connie Plank, so I guess that’s pretty good. Great band, great album and a fantastic hang.
