Haven: Home to Bilo launched in Nadesalingam’s hometown

A new play showcasing the journey of a Tamil refugee family has been launched in their hometown Biloela.
The play called Haven: Home to Bilo, shows the journey of Priya, Nades, Kopika and Tharnica, when in 2019 they were about to be deported to Sri Lanka under the Morrison government.

Belloo Creative produced the play at the Women of the World Festival last weekend, and The Wire’s Eduardo Jordan caught up with the team to learn more about it.
