Hazara Asif Sultani – Refugee Week 2023

Asif escaped to Iran with his family after persecution because of being a minority. He remembered a terrifying journey on a leaky boat at 16 years old. Before that he was only 7 years old when they were pushed out of their homeland. To survive he learnt martial arts and now runs his own gym to train others. He speaks on behalf of refugees as a UNHCR High profile supporter. He now lives in regional NSW. Razors Edge commemorates Refugee Week.
