Instagram has become one of the most used social networking sites in the world. With over 700 million users, the photo-based platform has been traditionally skewed towards younger females aged  18 – 29 and has allowed people to interact with various online movements. Recently, the trend of clean eating has been heightened through the self-presenting nature of Instagram, and we have started to see men use it as a way to promote healthy eating habits and lifestyles. But what can this tell us about our current culture? Michael Walsh, Assistant Professor of Social Science at the University of Canberra joined Drive to discuss this further.
