Heart regeneration in baby mice

We all know that baby little animals are the cutest little things in the whole wide world. Little puppies, baby little pelicans, lizards.. I guess? And of course, vermin!

Baby mice have an incredible ability to melt our hearts despite the fact that once they grow older, their cuteness is very questionable.

Researchers out of UNSW developed a microchip to help scientists study the regenerative potential of heart cells in mice. This microchip may help with similar development for us humans.

The Daily was joined by one of the researchers, Dr. Hossein Tavassoli to shed some light on the topic.
