HILDA: Older Workers Boosting the Workforce

According to new research, the 65+ age group are the fastest growing sector in the Australian workforce.

However, the 2019 HILDA Survey has revealed these workers are in a precarious position, as they are also the most likely to be axed from part time or fixed term contracts.

What kind of impact does the influx of older workers have on our economy? Is rejoining the workforce really beneficial?
