Hospitality businesses concerned of single-used plastic leftovers

At the beginning of September, the Queensland government banned single-used plastics.

While environmentalists declare the ban a win, some hospitality businesses are concerned on what to do with their plastic waste, since they cannot give it to the customers and cannot throw it to landfill.

Some restaurants and cafes support the ban, but others are concerned and doubt if it will reduce plastic waste in the state.
