How can we design a safer Sydney?

A survey that came out in May this year disclosed that approximately 90% of women feel unsafe after dark. This comes after spotlight into abuse in the workplace, in our universities and on our streets. Besides a much needed overhaul in our culture, how can we change our cities to promote a safer environment for the future and what’s holding us back from doing this already?  Dr Paul Cozens, Senior Lecturer from the School of Design and the Built Environment at Curtin University, joins Sean from the Daily to discuss this further.
