How politicians reacted to national DV protests

Over the weekend, crowds marched in Canberra to the lawns of Parliament House to demand an end to gendered violence.

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese attended the rally, but received mixed reactions after making a speech.

Mr Albanese did not commit to declaring gendered violence as a national emergency.
