Is the HSC failing our kids?

The prospect of not getting that magical ATAR score mounts an enormous amount of pressure on the students and families involved, as exaggerated expectations rush through their young minds.
But is the stress and pressure worth it? Is the HSC systematically failing our kids? Is there a better way to educate our doctors and leaders of tomorrow?
