Hundreds Of Scientific Papers Unreliable

Recently, hundreds of scientific research papers published by Australian scientists have been found to be unreliable. A team of scientists behind online site, Retraction Watch have compiled a database for the first time, revealing the extent of compromised scientific research in Australia.

It’s found that over the past 2 decades, over 200 scientific research papers are of an unreliable nature, with many having links to some of our top universities.

So what does this say about scientific research in Australia? Breakfast spoke to Professor Simon Gandevia, deputy director of Neuroscience Research Australia.
