Immigration Bill Debacle

Two Labor MP’s have contributed to a report which calls for a significant portion of the bill to be scrapped.

The bill will give the Immigration minister significant powers which could impinge on human rights not the least of which is the power to imprison people who do not comply with ministerial orders.
