Imminent Eruption: Bali’s Mount Agung

Yesterday on 2SER on volcanologists suggesting that Mount Agung, a volcano located in Bali, could erupt in a burst of molten lava anytime soon. In wake of this, other experts are now suggesting that the eruption could have a global effect on our planet’s atmosphere, specifically a drop in the global atmospheric temperature.

Here to explain this suggestion a little further, 2SER spoke to Professor Richard Arculus, an Emeritus Professor in geology at the Australian National University.
