The budget is coming up and there will always be parts that disappoint some and others that may prove beneficial to Australians.

One area which always draws attention is the health budget. With an ageing population and a focus on general health in the wider community, we can’t afford to let our guard down.

What should the government be aiming to do with the health portion of the budget?
