International Womens Day and Gender Equity

In light of International Women’s Day on March 8th 2020, Monday Daily was delighted to be joined by Professor JaneMaree Maher of the Centre for Women’s Studies and Gender Research, Sociology in the School of Social Sciences at Monash University.

Gender Representation, Equality, Equity (yes, they’re different) and the controversial recognition of Bettina Arndt this last Australia Day were discussed.

A really informative chat about how in 2020, we unfortunately still have a long way to go to equality.
