Interview: Brenda Matthews The Last Daughter

The Last Daughter is a new documentary co-directed by Brenda Mathews and Nathaniel Schmid. It tells Brenda’s story of being removed from her loving Aboriginal family, then raised by a white family only to be removed again and retuned to a family she then didn’t know. The film documents Brenda’s journey to reconcile her fragmented memories and to discover where she belongs. In this interview Brenda discusses the film and her story with Evan Shapiro.
