Interview with an Artist – Geoff Lugg

Each week on the Thursday Daily at 11:45am we profile an Australian artist – be they a sculptor, painter, dancer, writer – someone working in the creative sphere.

Geoff Lugg hasn’t always painted. Actually he spent a great deal of his career in the Police force. That was until a trip to Arnhem land in 2018 rekindled his high school love for painting. He began with bright indigenous inspired pieces and has recently moved to country settings such as shearing sheds and old workers cottages.
