Interview with an Artist – Vanessa Stockard

Vanessa Stockard brings a lighthearted take to the fine art world. Creating paintings reminiscent of old world masters, Vanessa throws a touch of humour into each of her works. Her recent series involving a kitten called KEVIN!!! has seen fans creating tributes from all over the world. Something about the little furry beast speaks to people. Not to be dismissed, Vanessa has been a finalist in a number of Australia’s leading art prizes including the Archibald and the Portia Geach.
