This Place is a tender, layered film, about two young women who begin falling in love after a chance meeting in a Toronto laundromat. One is half Iranian, Half indigenous. V.T. Nayani discusses the themes of displacement, coming-of-age and the rising career of her co-writer and star Davery Jacobs.
