Israel-Iran Conflict: motivators and implication of US involvement

It’s been three days since Israel’s surprise attack on targets across Iran, and strikes continue to escalate in the most significant confrontation between the long-standing enemies to date. 

Israel hit more than 100 major targets in Iran on Friday, including nuclear facilities and missile sites, killing senior military commanders and scientists. In retaliation, Iran has launched several waves of missiles at Israel since the initial attack.
