IUDs: What is the Fear?

A new report has shown women who use hormonal contraceptives are at increased risk of depression. A likely alternative for women would seem to be the IUD yet an underwhelming 9% of Australian women use an IUD as a contraceptive method. Is there still a fear surrounding the use of IUD’s?
