James Packer and the Sydney Crown Casino Development

The Crown Casino in Barangaroo has lost its gambling license after a series of hearings found that it was ‘not a suitable person’ to hold one. As a result James Packer has been addressed by the NSW Government after viewing the report of the Bergin Inquiry Sydney’s second casino licence, which is held by the James Packer-backed Crown Resorts. The report has found evidence that has stripped Crown Casino’s gambling license away from them.  Charles Living Stone, gambling researcher at Monash university’s School of Public Health joined us earlier to discuss the outcome of the hearing.
