Jeremy Heiman’s New Power

Jeremy Heimans is the co-founder of community organising sites GetUp and Avaaz.org, and he is the CEO of social movement business Purpose.

He’s just written a book with Henry Timms called New Power about the shifting power dynamics of our hyper-connected world. Jeremy chatted to Nic about #MeToo, how new power can be co-opted by old power structures and how young people are rising up.

Jeremy will be in Sydney on May 8 to talk about the book with the School of Life.
