Jim White from The Hard Quartet on 2SER Breakfast

The Hard Quartet is a brand new indie rock supergroup featuring Emmett Kelly, Stephen Malkmus, Matt Sweeney, and Jim White.

They’ve just released their self titled debut album, a fifteen track opus that is ode to the history of guitar music, a superb fusion of power-pop and folk that straddles 70s psych to 90s grunge and much more.

The legendary Jim White joined 2SER Breakfast to talk about how hard it is coming up with a name for your band, the new record and subsequent upcoming tour which will land on Australian shores early in the new year.
