John Russell: Australia’s French Impressionist

The Art Gallery of NSW is an exhibition of Australian French Impressionist artist, John Russell. This will be the first survey of his work, in conjunction with other influential artists, in 40 years.

Our producer, Sita Sargeant, spoke to exhibition curator and head of Australian art for the Art Gallery of NSW, Wayne Turncliffe, on the significance of John Russell’s work.
