Jump in First Nations students studying TAFE significant

Charles Darwin University TAFE has recorded a significant jump in student enrolments, up almost 14 percent compared to this time last year.

A significant part of that growth is coming from First Nations students, who now make up nearly one in four of all enrolments.

The university says it’s a strong sign more Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are turning to TAFE to build skills and create new opportunities.
