Justice groups urge government to address modern slavery in Indo-Pacific

In the wake of the Albanese Government’s landslide election win, international justice groups are urging the Government to address the modern slavery crisis in the Indo-Pacific region.

The groups have stated the Australian government must be a “good neighbour” to our Indo-Pacific trading partners, including countries like Myanmar and Cambodia, through investing in Anti-Slavery programs and legislation.
