Kerryn Phelps talks Wentworth and Climate Action

The Wentworth by-election triggered by the resignation of former Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull is now less than three weeks away. As we approach voting day, Doctor Kerryn Phelps has emerged as a clear front-runner among the Independent candidates.  But with 16 candidates now registered, how will the votes – and the preferences – be split?

Dr Phelps joined Tess for a chat about race for Wentworth. She also detailed her six-point climate policy plan, which includes banning political donations from fossil fuel companies; full disclosure of lobbyist meetings; and a transition to 100% renewable energy, with a target of 50% by 2030.
